About ChallanCheck

ChallanCheck is a free online tool that helps Indian vehicle owners quickly check if they have any pending traffic challans. Simply enter your vehicle registration number and get instant results.

Why We Built This

Checking challan status on official government portals can be time-consuming, requiring multiple steps and sometimes dealing with CAPTCHA challenges. We built ChallanCheck to make this process faster and easier.

How It Works

When you enter a vehicle number:

• We check our cache for recent results
• If not cached, we query the official echallan.parivahan.gov.in portal
• Results are cached briefly to provide faster responses for subsequent checks
• You get the challan status displayed in a clean, mobile-friendly format

Coverage

We currently cover states that use the national echallan.parivahan.gov.in portal, including:

• Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana
• Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab
• West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh
• Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim, Tripura

Some states like Gujarat, Haryana, and Kerala have their own challan portals. We're working on expanding coverage.
